Hunter Nerf Never Posted, Buff Was: WoW Forever's Hawk Back to 90
At the end of October, a hotfix cut Aspect of the Hawk's rank 5 from 90 ranged attack power to 47 and halved Trueshot Aura; SignsOfKelani found it in the data, and no developer notes ever mentioned it. By November 2, hotfixes on the live WoW Forever servers put the Hawk back to 90 (Wowhead listed it first), and on November 3 Blizzard's Beta Development Notes made it official: the Hawk at 20, 35, 50, 70, 90 and a new rank 6 at 110, Trueshot Aura's top rank at 100, Sniper Shot's bonus damage doubled, every one of them described as an increase. A correction to our own obituary for the hawk, and one request: post the nerfs as well.

Obituaries — the hawk
Aspect of the Hawk, rank five: ninety attack power, cut to forty-seven at the end of October1, back to ninety by November second2. I wrote this hawk an obituary on November first, and it didn't read it.
Obituaries — the notes
Trueshot Aura, fifty to a hundred at the top3, and Sniper Shot doubled4, and Blizzard's notes say: "Ranged Attack Power bonus increased on all ranks"5. Increased. Back to the numbers from before a cut nobody posted6.
Obituaries — the paperwork
My hunter got halved in silence and put back with a note. I'm undead, I know a resurrection when I see one, and the funeral never made the papers.
Obituaries — cause of death
I'd already broken it to my hunter over a fish. Cause of death: cancelled. Post the nerfs too, you lot.
I'll be here. Forever.
