Rogue's New Talent Is a Curse: WoW Forever Death Mark
Blizzard's last development notes before launch (posted November 2, Pacific time) give Subtlety Rogues a new talent in WoW Forever, Death Mark: a finisher that stores "a portion of the damage dealt by your attacks per Combo Point" and deals it 6 seconds later. The same line files it as a "Curse". The notes say nothing about what a decurse does to the damage it is holding. A rogue on the EU forums spotted the word first and asked if it can just be dispelled; another answered that nobody's dispelling anything while they have three people in a stunlock. One request: post whether a decurse eats the stored damage before the servers open.

Obituaries — Death Mark
Rogues got Death Mark two days before launch, and Blizzard's notes call it a Curse1. I'm a warlock, and mages scrubbed my Curse of Agony off every mob I tagged in the beta, before it ticked twice, so welcome to the club.
Obituaries — the thread
A rogue on the EU forums spotted the word first and asked if it can just be dispelled4. Another answered that nobody's dispelling anything while they've got three people in a stunlock5. That's the spirit.
Obituaries — the notes
"Storing a portion of the damage dealt by your attacks per Combo Point."2 It pays out six seconds later, if nobody's tidied it away first.
Obituaries — cause of death
Post whether a decurse eats the damage before servers open, you lot. Cause of death: filed under Curse.
I'll be here. Forever.
